I found this over on Damion’s blog.
Basically, what you have is a personality test with a slight twist, which you can embed on your blog or myspace, allowing your friends to answer questions about you to change your “daemon”, as it fits you via the answers given.
Fun.

What it really is, is a viral marketing mechanism, and a technique I haven’t seen before. The URL you need to go to for this test is actually the website of a movie being released in December of ‘07.
It’s a fantastic idea because everyone is inexplicably addicted to taking stupid tests. Mostly because everyone is very wrapped up in themselves. Being able to post something like this to a blog or a myspace or whatever else just extends that lovefest into a new dimension, allowing you to have OTHERS take tests about you.
Because of this, it’ll almost certainly make its way around the internet at lightning speed (something like 73000+ tests taken so far I think?), and more and more people become aware of this movie. I think the only problem is that, while their website is beautiful and interactive and pretty well coded, designed drawn up etc… I took the test, and still came away knowing pretty much absolutely nothing about their movie. A quick, exciting trailer playing embedded somewhere on the site while you take the test might be a good idea. Because as nice as the site is, I didn’t go looking for more information on the movie really (I did read the intro, it left me without much knowledge of the plot, storyline, etc) - and you can bet that most people won’t even pay as much attention as I did.
It’s a very good idea though. Remind me to do something like this in the future.
