Most of all, to Ezra and his father for hanging in there.
People do beat that kind of stuff kiddo, I’ve seen it. Hang in there, stay positive.
Truly a touching story. Really, good for Blizzard.
MMOs do have a good side, sometimes that’s hard to believe.
I remember things like father and son teams on IPY who played together when they lived too far apart to spend much time together. MMOs can truly be an escape for people, and I think that, in this day and age, that can be incredibly important. What’s a better possible escape than an entire virtual world of fantasy and adventures, filled with thousands and thousands of other people who don’t care about what’s going on with you in real life? Not much.
Here’s hoping Ezra gets better soon, and can continue having a great time with his dad in World of Warcraft for a long, long time.
